Eastwood City is a shopping, dining and entertainment complex in Libis, Quezon City. It became popular for its outdoor cafes, restaurants, and band concerts (mostly on Fridays and Saturdays). During daylight, it transforms into a very peaceful business community.
But SME.com.ph broke the silence last Thursday, October 18, 2007, when they visited City Walk in Eastwood to meet the 43 entrepreneurs from Angono, Antipolo, Taytay, Marikina, Pasig and Pateros, and introduce the benefits of SME Toolkit and the global eBusiness solutions to their enterprises.
Online business is now growing to ensure efficient transactions on people’s lives and businesses. As a support to all Small and Medium Enterprises, the SME Toolkit was created to enhance the efficiency of their business’ day-to-day operations through knowledge and information sharing.
“We were surprised with the outcome because all of the participants were happy that they were invited to the road show and they said that the SME Toolkit is a noble project for entrepreneurs like them. And surprisingly, half of the participants gave their commitments to become SME.com.ph members” PDB SME Solutions Sales and Marketing Head Russelle S. Trinidad said.
Aside from the presentation made by PDB SME Solutions President Adonis Yap, the team gave every entrepreneur a CD containing SME Toolkit which they can access if they need information on Accounting, Operations, Human Resources, Marketing, Legal, Operations and Technology. They also raffled off some premium items and a cellular phone courtesy of Globe Telecoms.
The SME.com.ph team intends to reach out to more Filipino entrepreneurs! Next Thursday, the team will visit Cavite City for another SME Toolkit Road Show.
So do visit www.sme.com.ph regularly, and be e-informed!
