BRIEF HISTORY

Mario F. Sandoval was formerly an employee of British-American Pharmaceutical Company, SMITHKLINE BEECHAM. After 13 years of employment, he decided to resign from his employer to venture on his own business. With the joint effort of his wife, Edelminda Sandoval, Mr. Sandoval started to operate bangus business on January 18, 1993 under the trade name of M.F. Sandoval Trading with an initial capital of Php 20,000.

Bangus by nature is delicious and yet a fully boned fish, People fond of eating bangus have the problem of deboning the bangus. Fully aware of Bonuan bangus popularity and the problem therein, M.F.Sandoval Trading had introduced the deboned marinated bangus and deboned smoked bangus. The acceplance of said products in the market was tremendous so much so, that M.F Sandoval Trading had introduced new products, such as fresh deboned bangus, Prime Cut Belly, Bangus Relleno, Bangus Embutido, Bangus Longaniza, Bangus Shanghai, Bangus Nuggets, Bangus Siomai, Bangus Fishballs, Sangus Kilawen, Bangus Croquettes, Bangus Chicharon, Bangus Quekiam, Bangus Fillet, Bangus Patties, etc.

 

As of now, M.F. Sandoval Trading is supplying the needs of supermarkets and malls in Metro Manila, such as: Pilipinas MAKRO, ShoeMart, Big R, Sta. Lucia Supermarket, Price Mart, Waltermart, Cherry Fooderama, Pioneer Centre Supermarket, Robinson’s Supermarket, Landmark - Makati, Unimart, Gem's Supermarket, etc. In addition to malls and supermarkets, prestigious restaurants are likewise being supplied, such as: Max's Restaurant, Padi’s Restaurant, Dencio's Restaurants, Mario’s Restaurants, Goldilocks Restaurants, Pedrito’s Restaurants, among others.

To increase proper exposure and distribution of said products, M.F. Sandoval Trading had opted to open FRANCHISE OUTLETS to key areas, such as: MM’s Boneless Bangus (Baguio City), MERWlN Mini-Fastfood (Sta. Maria, Bulacan.), ENERVA Trading (Bangued, Abra), B-Mik’s Trading (San Fernando, La Union), JARUSIRI Trading (B.F.Homes Subdivision), Fish & Fry Trading (Angeles City), Fishers of Men (Las Piñas), Acedo Trading (Bicutan), Box of Blue Trading (White Plains), Regional Foods Trading (Cammonwealth Avc., Q.C.), JO-LV Trading (Cabanatuan City).

 

 

Currently, M,F. Sandoval Trading is exporting some of its products to Switzerland, Guam and Saipan. But its dream is to acquire HACCP Accreditation, which is a pre-requisite to U.S. Market.
